October 8, 2013

So I am starting over!  I am probably crazy because well I am a Senior in University and my last basketball season is about to start, I also have a very heavy workload, and I am currently in the midst of the very chaotic and panic-inducing job search. But I am doing this.  I missed my blog so much, I had to get one more notebook just so I could contain my OCD.  I am not sure when I will get to post if I ever will -- but I also don't know if anyone read this, so no big deal.

I originally quit because the jobs I have always wanted, mean that my life can't be out there in the world, but I am not sure what type of a job I am going to get when I graduate in May, so why should I give up something I love doing and I am such a fan of.  Also, I will try to keep some air of mystery about myself, not that the internet really would allow me to do that but I can try.

I already have some good post ideas (or I think they are good) so I can't wait to start!  I also am back in NYC and should be here for the remainder of the school year.  It is quite exciting - and it means I am in the process of going to a bunch of bucket list places! (I am using I a lot...) but I also am an annual member of Citibike - which is also amazing because my right foot, which has never had any problems, now has a nice case of tendinitis and I can barely walk on it - super unpleasant, and oh wait basketball season official starts (well practices do) next Wednesday and I also am dancing (both ballet and contemporary) so it has just kind of been a big downer.

Before I forget, I have classified this blog as a fashion blog, but it is more of a lifestyle blog because I want to post about health, makeup, accessories, travel, fashion and life!  But I just love the fashion blogs that I follow so I figured that since I will be using polyvore and stuff like that more I should start posting.  I also am going to count this as new day 1, even though I have already had over 1,000 views and over 50 posts!  It is all very exciting but I did take a break to refocus.  Lastly, before I forget, I am meeting with a nutritionist tomorrow afternoon.  I am heading into basketball season, but because I have been injured, I have not been really working out - not like I normally do. On top of that, I definitely have been stress eating - meaning way too many strawberry poptarts and nutella with pretzels, so I feel a little like a hefer and weighed down by carbs/bread.  I really need to do a cleanse/get rid of processed sugar and reduce my carb intake but I also want to lose some weight (despite season starting soon) because when my season is done, I don't want to have to figure out how to lose all the muscle and fat we get from the long season and eating non-stop.  Can't wait to share with you the facts I learn and also a possible workout plan...until practice starts next wednesday!

Thanks for reading.

With joy,
